MITALAB DONATES WARM COATS TO STUDENTS OF YEN HUONG SECONDARY SCHOOL, YEN PHU COMMUNE, TUYEN QUANG PROVINCE
This morning, amid the chilly weather of the mountainous region of Tuyen Quang, brand-new warm coats were personally delivered to students of Yen Huong Secondary School, located in Thong Nhat Hamlet 6, Yen Phu Commune.
Through the “Noi Vong Tay Lon” (Connecting Hearts) Charity Fund, in collaboration with the Tuyen Quang Provincial Women’s Affairs Committee, Mitalab donated 566 warm coats—matching the total number of students currently enrolled at the school. Though small in size, each gift carried deep care, compassion, and sincere affection.
Yen Huong Secondary School is situated in Yen Phu Commune, an area comprising several extremely disadvantaged villages in Tuyen Quang Province. Characterized by rugged mountainous terrain and challenging transportation conditions, the local community continues to face significant hardships. Most students at the school are children from ethnic minority families, many of whom belong to low-income or near-poor households, confronting numerous obstacles on their daily journey to school.
Winter arrives early and harshly in Yen Phu. The biting cold seeps through winding mountain paths and into modest classrooms. Many students come to school wearing thin clothing, lacking warm coats, proper shoes, backpacks, or even basic school supplies. Yet despite these hardships, their eyes still shine with a strong desire to learn and a hope to change their future through education.
Deeply understanding and sharing these challenges, upon receiving the call for support from the Tuyen Quang Provincial Women’s Affairs Committee and the school’s Board of Management, the “Noi Vong Tay Lon” volunteer group swiftly launched this support program.
Today, the warm coats brought by Mitalab not only help protect the children from the harsh winter cold, but also serve as a heartfelt embrace—an unspoken yet powerful message that they are not alone on their educational journey.
Each coat given is a seed of hope planted. It represents the warmth of human kindness and the belief that when communities come together, no child is left behind. The journey of giving continues, and from Yen Huong today, hearts and hands have been connected—stronger, closer, and filled with love.
