SUPPORTING UNDERPRIVILEGED STUDENTS IN Ý YÊN DISTRICT – NAM ĐỊNH TO PURSUE THEIR DREAMS

On May 24, 2025, the “Joining Hands for Charity” group from Minh Tâm Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. braved the heavy rain to personally visit and award scholarships to eight orphaned and disadvantaged students in Ý Yên District, Nam Định Province—all of whom are excelling in their studies despite difficult circumstances.

Accompanied by local Women’s Union officials, the charity team visited each family to meet the children and those who are caring for them. These families all share a common situation—extreme financial hardship. Many live in deteriorating single-story homes with no means to repair or improve them. The children, having lost their fathers, face many deprivations. Yet, they remain determined—working hard to help their mothers, studying diligently, and dreaming of a brighter future.

Many of the children expressed their aspirations to become teachers or soldiers, not only because they admire those careers but also because these fields often come with reduced university tuition fees, which would help ease the financial burden on their families.

As we said goodbye to the bright and resilient students of Ý Yên, we carry with us a heartfelt hope: that our community will continue to stand together to provide material support and emotional encouragement, enabling these children to confidently pursue their education and realize their dreams.
