MITALAB SUPPORTS UNDERPRIVILEGED STUDENTS IN HA TINH: WHEN COMPASSION BECOMES A SOURCE OF STRENGTH

On May 9 – 10, 2026, the charitable journey of the “Joining Hands Together” volunteer group from Minh Tam Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. reached seven villages across Ky Anh and Ky Xuan communes in Ha Tinh Province.

Overcoming long distances and challenging roads, the delegation, in collaboration with the Ha Tinh Women’s Union, visited the homes of 12 students facing exceptionally difficult circumstances. Behind each household was a deeply moving story: Duong Khac Trung lost his father while his mother suffers from congenital deafness and mental illness; Ho Xuan Phuc lives with his nearly 70-year-old grandmother and a mother struggling with severe mental illness; Tran Thi Vy has been caring alone for her bedridden mother for the past three years. Yet despite the hardships surrounding them, the students’ determination to pursue education and their dreams of becoming teachers, soldiers, and contributing members of society continue to shine brightly.

A total of VND 55 million, along with many meaningful gifts and essential supplies, was directly delivered to the 12 students in Ky Anh District. Though modest in material value, these gifts carried heartfelt encouragement and timely support, helping ensure that the students’ dreams would not be overshadowed by financial hardship.

For Minh Tam, Corporate Social Responsibility is not merely a commitment, but an act of compassion rooted in genuine care and human connection. Witnessing the joyful smiles of the children reminded the volunteer team that every effort made along the journey was truly worthwhile. We firmly believe that timely support can become a strong source of motivation, empowering these students to continue their education and confidently pursue their aspirations.
