MITALAB ACCOMPANIES SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR ON “ILLUMINA NEXT-GENERATION SEQUENCING TECHNOLOGY – BREAKTHROUGHS AND APPLICATIONS IN RESEARCH”

On October 22, 2025, the scientific seminar titled “Illumina Next-Generation Sequencing Technology – Breakthroughs and Applications in Research” was successfully held at the University of Science – Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. The program was co-organized by Mitalab in collaboration with the university and Illumina, attracting strong interest from lecturers, experts, researchers, and students in the fields of Biology, Biomedical Sciences, and Genetic Technology.

During the seminar, Mitalab’s experts shared in-depth knowledge on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology and its practical applications in scientific research, diagnostics, and medical treatment. Participants also had the opportunity to engage in multi-dimensional discussions about the future potential of NGS, especially in public healthcare.

A key highlight of the event was the introduction of Illumina’s latest upcoming solutions and technologies, promising breakthroughs in optimizing research time, cost, and efficiency, while expanding the application of NGS in precision medicine, biomedical research, and other scientific domains.
