THE JOURNEY OF LIGHTING UP DREAMS – SPREADING LOVE TO LÂM ĐỒNG PROVINCE

As September arrives with autumn’s gentle breeze and the red national flags waving proudly across the streets, the “Joining Hands for Love” volunteer group continues its journey of compassion, bringing hope and care to underprivileged children in Lâm Đồng Province.

In collaboration with local authorities and teachers, the group awarded 07 scholarships along with many practical gifts to disadvantaged students in the districts of Lâm Hà, Đơn Dương, and Bảo Lâm.

The family circumstances and the resilient spirit of these children deeply touched the hearts of our volunteers. At times, it was joy from their excellent academic achievements; at times, it was overwhelming emotion from the hardships they endure; and at times, it was a quiet moment of hope when listening to their dreams for the future.

Images of fragile houses, single fathers raising children, families missing the presence of parents, or children depending on their aging grandparents — all of these painted a picture of strength and perseverance. Despite difficulties, these students walk to school each day, carrying with them faith in a brighter, more abundant tomorrow.

The journey of “Lighting up Dreams” gave these children not only gifts but also the assurance that they are not alone. Each present carried a heartfelt message: “Be strong, for there are always many who love and support you.”
