MITALAB ACCOMPANIES THE SEMINAR “APPLICATIONS OF MOLECULAR BIOLOGY & AI IN MEDICAL RESEARCH”

On the afternoon of October 31, 2025, the scientific seminar titled “Applications of Molecular Biology and Artificial Intelligence in Medical Research” took place successfully at Tra Vinh University.

The event was co-organized by the Institute of Biotechnology – Tra Vinh University and Mitalab, attracting the participation of numerous doctors, scientists, lecturers, and students.

In her opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thach Thi Dan – Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, emphasized: “In the context of rapid AI development, integrating artificial intelligence with molecular biology not only deepens our understanding of the essence of life, but also opens up new directions in diagnosis, treatment, and drug development.”

Throughout the seminar, participants had the opportunity to engage with several in-depth scientific presentations, including:

• Latest trends in molecular biology for disease diagnosis and treatment.
• Applications of AI in genetic data analysis and precision medicine.
• Introduction of next-generation sequencing technology (Illumina) – a breakthrough tool for research and clinical applications.

In addition to the presentations, the Q&A and discussion sessions offered a valuable platform for participants to exchange insights, strengthen expertise, and explore practical applications, contributing to the advancement of precision medicine and sustainable medical development.
